Studley Castle

Warner Leisure Hotels, Studley Warwickshire
Converting this 1830 Folly into a unique Hotel for Warner Leisure Holidays required a concept to sympathetically enhance the Gothic Revival Architecture, maintain the apparent eccentricity of the creator and also capture the spirit of the Warner Leisure Hotel brand.

This £50m investment embraces the growth in Adult Only holidays in an environment befitting of a break that offers relaxation, entertainment and playfulness in equal measures.

Interior Architecture of this quality should be observed peacefully and space planning should allow guests the opportunity to pause and take in their surroundings.

Newman Gauge respectfully created a delicate balance of visual stimulus to allow the Architecture to be appreciated yet still offer smaller subtle details for guests to discover in relaxed contemplation.

The Stable Spa is situated in the former stable block on the Studley Estate.  The utilitarian Architecture is exposed to celebrate the legacy of this building whilst a modern glass extension provides contrast to the existing architecture.

Newman Gauge carefully considered this hard environment by imposing a design that captured the character and complimented the environment with lighting and furnishing to ensure guests relax in this unique setting.

As experts in the Spa and Leisure Sector Newman Gauge recognise the issues in attracting new guests to try a Spa experience.

Careful space planning and creating a dual purpose environment instantly breaks down physical barriers allowing guests to explore their options at their leisure.
