We developed The Store and Little Something as part of a global retail masterplan for Butlins. We established that the target market would be a mix of aimed at both adult females and children, and understood that they would be shopping as a family therefore we delivered a unit with a single payment point and a perceived split in order for us to target the customer more specifically. The Store embraces the historical perception of Butlins, bright, fun and it doesn’t take itself too seriously. Little something is the calming influence of it’s neighbour with neutral colours and clinches the expectations of a seaside gift shop.
This unit has now been developed for all three of Butlins Resorts.
