Newman Gauge went to the beach for their recent refurbishment of Butlin’s holiday apartments! The existing apartments were transformed into Seaside Apartments boasting a bright colour scheme and being designed with the whole family in mind.

The design was intended to give the apartments a retro and nostalgic feel, going back to Butlin’s roots. Candy stripe wallpaper was used in the kitchen, with the print also being added to curtains and canvases and vintage images were hung in the spacious open plan lounge.

Walls, furnishings and accessories were all brought alive with colour, which was chosen to resemble the shades of classic beach huts and quirky touches such as candyfloss cloud nightlights and magnetic pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey were added. Balconies were also redesigned with new flooring and furniture, allowing for more space for families to relax and enjoy.
