We share our insights on what makes a bar or hotel popular, what furnishings are in trend and more importantly how clever design maximises space, increases service offering and more importantly how to drive a return on investment.

It’s been an exciting month here at Newman Gauge as we mark our official 20th birthday.

Ever busy with new projects, we took a day off to celebrate our twentieth year in the commercial interior design sector and combined it with a fundraising event for Leicestershire charity; *Alex’s Wish and what a better place to celebrate than one of our recent projects; The Blue Bell at Rothley.

Joining forces with The Little Britain Pub Company after recently comepleting The Crown in Dalby, Newman Gauge held a fundraising golfing event and dinner to raise a whopping £3000 and counting for Alex’s Wish.

The idea to raise money for Alex’s Wish, like all great ideas came up in the pub over a pint with Mike and Ben at The Blue Bell Inn. We were discussing Newman Gauge’s twenty year anniversary and the forth project completion for Little Britain Pub Co, which is when we decided to host a joint celebratory event and raise money for a local charity.

*Alex’s Wish, is a charity set-up in Rothley, Leicestershire by Emma and Andy Hallam in 2012 after finding out their son Alex was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, with the sole aim to fund world-class science and clinical trials to bring about a cure or new treatments to help delay symptoms of this fatal genetic disorder.
